"Subgroups of the bi community"

From an exercise in the workshop "Fitting and misfitting in the bi community" at BiCon 2002.
For the full context, please read the account of the workshop.

Each group of three people worked together to come up with a list of subgroups or subcommunities within the bi community. The groups then read out their lists.

Notes on the list below:

  1. We only took a couple of minutes to do it, so even the list we accumulated then wasn't by any means exhaustive. Also, collecting the groups' papers afterwards was an afterthought, and I don't think I got them all. But this is a composite list based on the papers that I did collect.

  2. The "/" in BDSM/S&M, Goth/Gothic etc indicates different terms written down by different people but (according to my understanding) referring to the same group or community. Email me if you disagree!
